Full Moon in Virgo, Total Lunar Eclipse, Sun Conjunct Pallas Athena in Pisces.

This potent full moon eclipse highlights the warrior goddess Pallas. As the third largest object in the asteroid belt, Pallas is a significant influence in our natal chart.

In Pisces, as she is today, infused by the Sun and opposite the Moon, Pallas Athena offers powerful intellect and wisdom, blended with intuition and spirituality. The Moon in Virgo is a discerning moon that is not dissolved in collective emotion but objectively assesses the situation, taking queue from inner guidance.

Pallas conjunct the Sun highlights the ability for discrimination and psychological coherence. A superpower of Pallas is the ability to recognise patterns and make sound decisions based upon that knowledge. Pallas’ bright intellect and ability to see what is hidden, merged with Virgin sovereignty (whole unto herself), is a gift of rare power.

No longer overwhelmed by the tides of lunar emotion and collective hysteria, Pallas in Pisces shows how to extend compassion and empathy while at the same time cultivating self-preservation and boundaries.

On her breastplate Pallas Athene wears the slain head of the Gorgon Medusa, indicating that she has integrated the hidden, mystical, and dark aspects of the feminine. She contains within her the power of the serpent mysteries. While the serpent is one of her totems, so too is the owl; this speaks to her ability to see in the dark. Knowing the secrets of the dark alongside her ability for pattern recognition and mental agility, Pallas is protected against negative unconscious and subconscious influence. Pallas is not easily played.

In Pisces however she is a sovereign of the heart who does not need to detach herself from the suffering of the collective, she feels it, and offers solutions and strategies toward liberation.

Pallas Athene is a sovereign, virgin goddess, a stable centre of awareness who embodies depth and complexity. She does not depend on external validation but is guided by an inner authority. With a strong sense of social justice, Pallas embodies and expresses the principle of creative intelligence toward solution-based action. In Pisces, she expresses this with an added dose of compassion and intuition.

Merged with the Sun at the point of the lunar eclipse, Pallas leads the way out of emotional lunar turmoil and old habituated patterns and emotional triggers toward freedom and sovereignty.

It may be time for you to don your golden shield and create unshakable boundaries. Within you is a growing inner wisdom that can no longer be denied or suppressed for the sake of towing the line or maintaining false systems.

Pallas Athene, in a sacred union with the Sun at the point of this potent total lunar eclipse, holds the naked truth as a mirror. She cannot be denied.

As Morning Star, Venus is also expressing her warrior feminine aspect. This amplifies solar feminine wisdom, that is wisdom that also knows and navigates the darkness. It is a formidable blend.

It may have become increasingly apparent to you what outmoded patterns are ready to be dissolved in preparation for your rebirth.
