Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth.

~Robert Frost

April’s full Moon on 16 April at 7.55 PM GMT is at 26° Libra 46’ opposite the Sun at 26° Aries 46’ both luminaries forming a T square with Pluto at 28° Capricorn.

Pluto is also forming a trine with the Vertex at 27° Taurus and the south lunar node at 23° (almost 24° Taurus).

Neptune is still conjunct Jupiter within 40 arc minutes at 24° Pisces.

This powerful cardinal trine in the cadent houses with Pluto, Vertex, and the south node as the release point, I feel is offering a glimpse into our collective destiny… a potential breaking down (cadent) which initiates (cardinal) a strong call to action for new beginnings. With lord of the underworld involved we can be sure that when finally, we are released from the current energies’ things will never look quite the same again. As with the myth of Persephone which is read both as a story of abduction and liberation, we have a choice in how this story ends. With Pluto as the focal point of the T square and the involvement of the nodal axis it is not too grand to assume that our collective soul is at stake.

This full moon has the potential to initiate us collectively into an entirely new way of being by exposing previously hidden or unknown factors… a process which began in January 2020 with the Pluto Saturn conjunction. It could be that we see the breaking down of structures that have provided the glue for a paradigm which has become untenable and must now dissolve. With the empty ninth house (not part of the configuration) the impetus is toward the higher mind and a facilitation of enlightened or more expansive ways of being that sees and considers the whole picture forcing us to consider the fate of ourselves, our species, and the future of the planet beyond our limited lives.

We are being called to raise the bar from the mire of Neptunian delusion and the many unseen things which bind us in societal and cultural merry-go-rounds. The Neptune Jupiter conjunction however comes with a cautionary note where the danger is that we get sucked in further by seductive traps offered up as solutions. We may see- or even experience- megalomaniacal tendencies as the need for a saviour rises.

This conjunction also shows us however that we are the saviour of our own life and in keeping with the potential of this time, we are invited to turn to our inner resources and wisdom. Work done to this end may now be called to service to begin the process of creating something new. With the lunar north node in Taurus there is talk of the New Earth.

The sabian symbol for the full moon lunar south node is:

PHASE 54 (TAURUS 24°): AN INDIAN WARRIOR RIDING FIERCELY, HUMAN SCALPS HANGING FROM HIS BELT.

KEYNOTE: The aggressiveness of human instincts when fighting for their earthly base of operation.

We are still in the period of “Differentiation” and the need for a differentiation of human behaviour and collective values is still very strong. At the emotional level man still has to believe in VIOLENCE FOR SURVIVAL.

This is what is now under review; this south node point speaks to our collective past and previous modus operandi with regards to our relationship with violence, power, and territory. Pluto is directing us to redress our individual and collective beliefs around power and survival and exposes the unseen mechanics at the root of the matter.

The full moon sabian symbol for the Vertex which is our collective fate is:

PHASE 58 (TAURUS 28°): A WOMAN, PAST HER “CHANGE OF LIFE,” EXPERIENCES A NEW LOVE.

KEYNOTE: Man’s capacity to rise in consciousness and feelings above biological limitations.

Whenever this third stage of the twelfth sequence is brought to a person’s consciousness, the indication is that he or she should freely open his or her mind to the possibility of always new REBEGINNINGS. Ideally, the new beginning should imply a more mature response to the new possibility of experience.

Ideally the new beginning should imply a more mature response however a regression is also possible if the call to raising consciousness is ignored or unobtainable. In the latter instance artificial intelligence, bio- medicalization of the human body, virtual reality, and synthetic food production en masse may be introduced… especially in the event of a breakdown in the food chain. On the other hand, the cardinal energy could sound a clarion call for a collective wake up where we realise that the path of artificial life is doomed; likely we will witness further polarisation in society as people choose one of these paths thus creating two alternate realities.

The Libra moon asks- Is there a third way and what would it take to find it?

How we choose to go forward will depend upon a variety of factors including our personal views, our soul’s impulse, our ability to detach from a dissolving system in which most of us have been relatively mollycoddled (perhaps in gilded cages) and align with more independent self-reliant ways of life. This however necessitates co creation with others, the development of harmonious communities, and willingness to consider the true cost of living. In doing so we might discover that the cost of living is to a greater or lesser extent illusionary, kept in place by a manipulated survival instinct… this and other issues of power and control particularly as it relates to the earth’s resources are being highlighted by the Taurus/Scorpio nodal axis.

Could it be that the days of hanging scalps from our belts either literally or metaphorically are coming to an end as we release our dependency on an artificial matrix and align with the available sources of life. As the hand that grips the wealth of the world loses power and our concepts of wealth are revised, our need for survival in a dying system diminishes and with it the fight for territory and control. That’s not to say that certain powers will not attempt to exert tighter restrictions before the synthetic umbilical cord is finally cut.

As our primal instincts are owned and made conscious- reflected in the full moon Vertex- we are less likely to succumb to manipulation and corruption of our natural resources allowing for the possibility of working with our Prima Materia in new and creative ways while making more of the unconscious conscious.

The Neptune Jupiter conjunction is heralding a new way opening a portal where we can make a break with the past, or at least turn the ship.

I will end this post with the Anishinaabe Seven Fires prophecy as documented in1988, by Edward Benton-Banai in The Mishomis Book.

It is this time that the light skinned race will be given a choice between two roads. One road will be green and lush, and very inviting. The other road will be black and charred and walking it will cut their feet. In the prophecy, the people decide to take neither road, but instead to turn back, to remember and reclaim the wisdom of those who came before them. If they choose the right road, then the Seventh Fire will light the Eighth and final Fire, an eternal fire of peace, love, brotherhood, and sisterhood. If the light skinned race makes the wrong choice of the roads, then the destruction which they brought with them in coming to this country will come back at them and cause much suffering and death to all the Earth’s people.
