Scotland the Grail: Magdalene of France~ Queen of Scots
As it was a hot day, the curtains were drawn so that I could not see the stained-glass windows, but when I eventually prized myself away from the chapel I saw something that stopped me in my tracks. At the entrance of the chapel, above the Wayfarer chalice, was a small stained-glass window that read “Magdalene of France Queen of Scots”. Above the words was a diamond, of which the left side was the red lion rampant of Scotland, and the other half blue with golden Fleur-de-Lys.
